Bharat Bharati remained a primary school up to 1984. It was situated near Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Kullu at that time. It remained a Middle School up to 1996 . Although it was not possible for the founders to see the school on regular basis yet they were always devoted to the school. In 1996 we upgraded the school and the first batch of Matriculates was passed out in 1998. Since 1998 the school has many achievements in it’s account.
It was a step-by-step process of growth for the school. After many changes in the new education system and plenty of parent and community support, the school had its first 10+2 class in 2006 with Science and Art Streams. New science laboratories were built, an administration area was refurbished and the Bharat Bharati was built to allow the school to expand for the 21st century. Commerce stream is introduced in April 2012.
The school has become a well-established institution where students from all communities come to study. The school has had the privilege of having reputed and experienced teachers to lead the institution from the beginning, paving the way for reaching great heights as the founders had envisaged.
